Optimizing Energy Efficiency in the Middle East
Innovas Technologies announced today it will supply the Helios Tube Cleaning System® to optimize the energy efficiency of cooling systems within the Lusail Marina district, a major hub within the city of Doha, Qatar. Innovas revealed its partnership with Marafeq, a Qatari company to provide district cooling for the project which features residential, mixed-use, commercial and hotel waterfront properties. Marafeq, known for its advanced utility solutions and district cooling development, plays a pivotal role in catering to the rising demand for air conditioning in the rapidly expanding urban developments across the Persian Gulf Region.
The significance of this project extends beyond the immediate impact on the Lusail Marina district, as it is anticipated to contribute to a substantial reduction in energy consumption in Qatar, estimated at 10 million kW-hrs annually. Additionally, the initiative is projected to cut CO2 emissions by 60,000 tons over the next 15 years, equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting 90,000 trees each year.
