Innovas Technologies is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of the Helios Automatic Tube Cleaning System at the new Marafeq North Plant in Qatar. The installation represents another important milestone in advancing energy efficiency and long-term operational reliability for district cooling infrastructure in the region.
A key factor in the adoption of the Helios system by Marafeq was the strong partnership between Innovas Technologies and its Qatar-based representative, Green Technologies and Contracting (Greentech). The Greentech team led the process of introducing the technology, defining its long-term value, and supporting the evaluation that ultimately resulted in the selection of the Helios Tube Cleaning System for Marafeq’s new plant.
Through this effort, Marafeq is expected to realize millions of dollars in lifetime savings through improved chiller efficiency, reduced fouling, and lower maintenance requirements. These performance gains will benefit not only plant operations, but also the broader Doha metropolitan area by supporting more efficient and reliable cooling capacity for the region.
